Getysburg had some really interesting period(I guess) brass instruments... I remember seeing some sort of euphonium with a long narrow bell that sat over the player's left shoulder and had the mouthpiece facing upwards... rotary valves too, I believe. Can't remember if the player was playing with his right hand or his left, though I doubt it was a Wagner Tuba.
