When I formerly utilized bags, I always preferred top loaders, although I sell far more side loaders.
Even though I am a couch potato, I have been blessed with a strong back and strong arm (to compensate for my weak mind). The zippers on both types of bags are fairly long and seem to fail with equal frequency. I just like, with a TOP loader, the way that I can pick up the bag, unzip it in one area (top), drop the tuba within, and zip it shut - all without assuming the knealing position.
To each his own. Again, the zippers fail with equal frequency/infrequency, assuming good quality.
