6/4 VMI CC...is this a good axe?

Do any of you have any experience with the 6/4 VMI's? How do you feel they compare to other 6/4's? I know that they are very similar to the PT-7 (just a different bell and 1st valve slide), but does it project as well? All comments are welcome.
