We tuba players (along with other "artists") might wish to "handle" the arts. I think we can promote ourselves far better than a few hundred oversexed congressmen can.

We should ALL "handle" the environment, and MANAGE it better than some in the west have. No one wants to be filthy, nor poisoned, nor (except perhaps for some zanny westerners) to sit in a dark, cold hole without utilities.

In this country, there are those with very little, but compared to a few billion other people in the world, I see almost no desperately "poor" here, unless by their own choosing (Name ONE person in the U.S. who starved to death during the Great Depression...?...?...??...???) or by kooky laws that allow mentally disturbed people to hopelessly wander the streets that really SHOULD be taken care of by their families or by the State... and

I SURE wish those guys who WORK VERY HARD every day at the exit ramp by the overpass near my store to get money for beer would INDEED spend that energy on housing themselves, instead of living under that overpass. (Yes, they have obviously allowed themselves to become "addicted" to beer, but are they addicted to walking a mile to the liquor store, stepping inside, selecting the brand that they want, reaching in their pocket, pulling out the correct amount of money, and handing it to the vendor?...I think all of that falls under "bad behavior" and not "addiction".) Funny...A church a few hundred feet from that overpass gives them food and clothing so that ALL of the money that they manage to beg can go exclusively for their beer (virtually guaranteeing that these people perpertuate their own "h-ll on earth"), and

as soon as EVERYONE in this country is finally educated (to the truth, and not to gobble-de-gook) there will be far fewer Socialists and far more

TUBA FANS!!!

Lets DO pray for enlightenment of the named and the nameless alike, and let's thank God that we are still FREE to be the best that we can be, in spite of oppressive institutions constantly telling us that we must depend on THEM for our success.
