I have had a few responses on the horns I am trying to sell. I thought I had asked for very low and very reasonable prices, but it seems I am not doing it right. I really did not want to do the e-bay thing, but it seems that is what I must do. If any one has any other ideas, please feel free to offer them. I have received several questions about why I am selling these horns. The reasons are as follows:
1. My playing opportunities have changed. I like the piston horns now. I want a big F tuba to go with my big CC tuba.
2. They take up a lot of space. I live at the beach. My house is not that big and my wife is very understanding but I am not a tuba store.
3. I hate to see them go unused. Yes I get a lot of jobs and play a lot, but most of it is done with one horn.
The tubas I have for sale are as follows:
F tuba
Meiln Weston Model 45
5 rotary valves fifth on the left hand
great condition
older german sound
$2500.00
F tuba
Kalison "Daryl Smith" Model
5 rotary valves fifth on the right hand
gig bag included
$2200
CC tuba
Miraphone 184-5U
Five rotary valves
Good shape not a student line, but a professional horn.
A great horn.
This is the crown jewel.
Make a good offer!
