I was flipping through an old TUBA Journal the other day and saw a reprint of the Conn "Truth", an ad rag that Conn published from around the turn of the century until WW II. The "Truth" contained a bunch of pictures of happy Conn owners and testimonials telling of the virtues of Conn instruments. There is a picture of a horn similar to Mark's find and the owner says it is an Eb. I vote Eb. BTW, the Journal issue is Vol. 15, No. 3, February, 1988.
