I disagree, while I understand Matts view it is rather far out there. To rename a tuba simple because someone else has a differant differant design or wants a differant sound is not the correct thing to do. And as for the fact of the 'true tuba sound' doesn't everyone have a differant concept of what they want there horn to sound likem, isn't that why we always get into debates over what horn is better. While I don't see the double tuba going into mass production obviosly Fred likes his horn, and Matt likes his, neither is better nor worse they just have two separate views on where they both would like to see the tuba develop.
