Are you sure of that last decimal place? .115 is not a standard size in USA or Europe. Might it need to be 0.118 or 3mm? Although #32 drill rod is available from www.mcmaster.com for under $2 for a 3 foot length. It can be heat treated but is plenty strong and hard without that.

I'd sure expect a Miraphone to be made with metric materials, not USA number drill sizes. Metric nuts and dies are common stock in local hobby shops with a strong train interest.
