I don't play full time, but enough that I like to keep up with the newer horns. Since I play mostly quintet jobs and in bands as a member of a section, my G50 has always been the ideal horn for me. I however did enjoy the Conn 56J CC and was very suprised by the Conn/Syriathon/Cerveny F that the Dillon's folks had. This was a great horn for the money (around 3 grand) and it was really tempting me to pull out the ol' credit card.

Did anyone else besides me like the 4/4 handmade Nirschl that Baltimore Brass had? Everyone I talked to at the conference was not too crazy about the horn, but I thought it was excellent.
