I live right in the middle of Dayton and Columbus (about 45 minutes to each). Monday, I'm taking my tuba to Gary Daffler at Hauer's Music in Dayton. He was highly recommended. He'll be rolling some creases out of the bell as well as giving it a tune up.
The closest store to me that does repairs is Kincaid's in Springfield. They, however, are a definite NO. Honestly, they don't know much about tubas (from the way they talk to me) and everything about the store plays the tune of an overpriced monopoly.
