I bought the Willson 2950 also. I realy liked the way it sounded over the entire range, but I use a large bass trombone mouthpieces. When I tried the Hirsbrunner I loved the low and extreme low range(tenor tuba sound), but the mid to high range was a little too thin(again, using a bass bone mouthpiece).
