All Six of the Cello Sonata's, of which this is one, have been transcribed for Double Bass in the original keys. The edition is published by Schirmer. With a little judicious editing of some of "stringish" figures, these will provide a lifetime of great music. Also check the Vivaldi Bass Sonatas. They are somewhat harder, but anything we can play by the "Red Priest" is well worth the effort. Both the Vivaldi and Marcello are edited by Lucas Drew. Good Luck.
