Don Stauffer (in "A Treatise on the Tuba") has the first valve as 28 inches, the second valve as 14 inches and the third valve as 42 inches long on an 18 foot BBb tuba. Bevin,in the "The Tuba Family", gives the length for each of the different keys of tuba (BBb, CC, Eb & F), but I don't have a copy so I can't say what they are with confidence. I think they are about 18', 16', 13.5' and 12', respectively.
