I was at the ITEC at Northwestern U in 1995 (I think). The leader of the
all-star high school tuba-euph ensemble noted that every one of the high school tubists brought their own horn and none were BBb. The local high
school (large suburban) still has all BBb's but starting around 1994 the first student-owned CC showed up.
