I bought a new contractors table saw but that does not make me an expert cabinetmaker. Most repair tools ARE available to the general public if they want to search them out. I for one won’t purchase a Dent Eraser but I hope that my repairman will. I like the idea of removing dents without disassembling my horn. I don’t want my tuba taken apart until absolutely necessary but I also want it to look good in the mean time.
I would think that someone who makes a living repairing instruments would welcome a tool that makes his/her job easier and more productive.

PS if band directors buy this tool and misuse it, who knows, you may end up with more work anyway!
