I've got a BBb Frankentuba made by Larry Minick that uses a York 4/4 body, Keefer bell and a valve section with 3 0.734" SS valves and one 0.770" SS. The 3rd partial F is bang on. I can attest to the big 4th branch making for a great open low register. Altogether, a great-playing horn even if it is ugly as sin.
