I would say that Roland Szentpali can/will/has made a living off of his little horn. He has just as much technique as Pat Sheridan, but not the musicality, at least not yet. Still an impressive player.
At one time, Kelly O'Brytant was living off of his little horn. So was Roger Bobo, and others that are pure soloists. Just a few names to help you out.
