This would be a good choice, especially if you like rotary valves. If you want to consider piston instruments, you should also look at the Jupiter 582, and (for a little more) the new King 2341. The VMI 3301 is also piston-valved, and a little more still (and getting dangerously close to that four large).
Also, call the big tuba stores and see what they have used. You might like your choices even more.
