It seems to me that the King 2341 or VMI 3301 would be the closest tubas in size and playing characteristics to the York Master. The bore through the valves is much larger on the VMI, more like the York, but the King has a short leadpipe like the York, so it is more conical. The older King's had detachable bells, like the York Master. A good used King 2341 would probably meet your needs well, or you could try out the new King 2341 (fixed upright bell) or a VMI 3301 if you are willing to spend a little more. These are the only 2 front action, 4 valve, BBb tubas that I would recommend looking at based on your needs.
