I am selling my B&S F because I bought a Yamaha 822 F. I play in quintets most of the time and wanted a little more bottom. I play a Bb VMI 3301 for my jazz and now rarer orchestra gigs. The B&S is a very sweet horn and the VMI is a big one. The Yamaha gave me a middle choice. I miss the B&S tone but I don't do much solo work or high orchestra playing. My horn has been on sale since April of 01 and has not had much interest. I bought it for $3,000 12 years ago. It is in pretty much the same shape as when I bought it. There were some improvements by Dick Akright at Best Music in Oakland. (valve directions). I need the money to fix up my house.
