I have seen nylon valve guides on a 56J. There was also a 52J or 56J on Dillon's site that was said to hve nylon valve guides. I don't think it would be real hard to change over to it if you really wanted to.
I have also seen all of the different leadpipes. A local player purchased the entire set, and has been using the red brass lately.
As for the mouthpieces, the shanks on Miraphones are a little smaller than other brands. I have mouthpieces from PT, Schilke, Mirafone, Conn, and Orfeo Deck, and the shanks are all a little bit different. The Mirafone is on the small end, with the Schilke on the big end...the PT is kinda in between along with the Conn and the Deck.
