Hey Dan, it is a different horn to play than the american Eb's.
You'll get used to it. Just try and find a small cup mouthpiece and practice with it.
(I can tell you that in my mouthpiece searches that a wick 5 is too small!)It does have some fuzzy notes in it if you don't blow them correctly. It took me a bit to figure it out.
