So how does the Holton do on the low F to C slur in the final movement of the Holst 2nd Suite? That part has always been the best test for me of the low range of a tuba. I have tried many tubas where I just can't play that clearly. Of course part of that is me, but it doesn't hurt to have a tuba that helps make it easier.
