How very odd! My Alexander plays a full tone sharp, too!! When I use the fingerings for a Bb scale, a C scale comes out of the tuba! (Silly tuba!) I have, however, learned to live with it. I just got into the habit of using an alternate fingering for every single note; it plays great that way! How very odd that you have the same problem that I have . . . I wonder if anyone else here on the TubeNet suffers from this?
BTW - I have heard that Jay Bertolet plays an F tuba that is 200 cents flat! ;-)
