With summer not too terribly far away, I thought I would invite young tuba and euphonium players to take part in the Performing Arts Institute. PAI, as we call it, is a fun and very intense summer music festival nestled at the foot of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.
Students aged 12-18 perform in orchestra, wind ensemble, chamber music, solo recitals, masterclasses and receive private instruction and theory classes. The festival runs in two 3-week sessions and information will be available soon at the link below or you can feel free to email me personally.
The brass faculty consists of Bruce Daugherty (trumpet), Erin Porter (horn), Art Haecker (trombone) and myself (tuba/euphonium).
