I'm guessing that it affects every compensating euphonium simply because of where the 4th valve is placed. I would just think that logically, but I'm not quite sure. It's just the angle at which the valve sits and the fact that it sits 1/2 way down the horn that does this. Again, I'm not positive, but that's just my thinking.
