Dale, if you can find a CB52 BBb, you'll probably be better off than if you were to use CB50/G50 in BBb mode. In my limited testing, the G50 when switched to BBb mode is much inferior when comnpared with its CC mode.
I don't know how many of the CB52's were produced, but the model's in my old CB dealer's brochure.
