I was just reading a reply to a posted message about the Die Meistersinger excerpt. It was something like "you have to use faster air for the high notes". My experience has been that you use more air for lower notes. If you have the same amount of air in your lungs when playing a low note and a high note, but you run out of air in a shorter time while playing a low note, doesn't this mean that your air is moving faster on lower notes?
Does anyone have any ideas about this?
