The Levine School of Music will be offering a low brass choir beginning in February of 2003 at the Kensington, Maryland campus. Enrollment is open to baritone, euphonium, trombone, and tuba players of all ages and experience levels. The ensemble will be instructed by Michael Parker (tuba, Monumental Brass Quintet), and will consist of rehearsal techniques and master class instruction. In addition to the preparation of music to be performed on Levine student recitals- emphasis on the basics of low brass playing and musicianship will be covered. This is an excellent opportunity to have fun and grow while making music in a slightly unconventional ensemble!

Rehearsals take place each Saturday from 1-2 beginning February 1st.
