As for not opening my mouth, I did that at my first unit, and by the time I left there enough people knew me everywhere else that I have been that ... well. During my thirteen years in, I have performed on trumpet, trombone, euph, tuba, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, and did some singing, in concert band, marching band, stage band, salsa band, rock/pop/country band, tuba quartet, brass quintet, brass choir, some odd chamber ensembles, as well as some solo work on euph.
Doubling keeps things interesting.
