A few years ago I was in a quintet with some guys from church. One of them was a band director and of the type who couldn't stop himself from acting the expert on everything.
We were taking a break from rehearsal one day and while my tuba was leaning against a wall a small plastic bottle fell off a shelf and into my horn. As Mr. Know-It-All was rushing to save my tuba I'm pleading "Leave it alone. I'll get it out." Well, he couldn't stop. He picked up my horn and prodeced to spin it... THE WRONG WAY. Needless to say, the bottle became lodged in the tuba.
Cost me twenty-five bucks to have the bottle fished out.
