I am in a similar situation, playing after a long layoff. I understand the idea of exercising muscles to get them in shape. That's why it sounds like a useful product for people who may not have a couple plus hours a day to practice.
My hesitation in buying it and the reason for my post is, does it exercise the right muscles in the right way? I know that my mouthpiece is not centered on my mouth. This may lead to some of the problems I have sometimes hitting Gs and Abs in the bottom of the staff. I'd hate to go to something that does as much harm as good. Normally, I would ask other tuba players in my area (some of them teachers), but this being a newer product and they really don't know the product. I hear, "The theory is good but...."
