I haven't played super-extensively on one, but I have practiced with these mouthpieces. They are REALLY small and shallow- even the orchestra one. But they do produce a focused sound and are quite comfortable. If you have a dark-sounding tuba or a tendency to play dark, then this will play well for you. If you are already a bright player, then it will probably be too bright. Just my opinion.
