I agree with what the dude says....tuba is a tough sell to a concerto committee. I am not sold on the accomps with orchestra for the Broughton or the Gregson. The second Mvt. of the Broughton is a better piece without the accomp(which I don't think really fits the solo part well at all).

I think you chances would be better with 1) the Vaughn Williams. I hate it, but it the recognized standard.
2) Strauss Horn Concerto...my top pick. this is the way to go.
3) Some other stolen tunes, like the Franz Strauss Concerto, the Caputzi Double Bass COncerto.
4) Try Legend of Hiemdall by Elizabeth Raum. For some stupid reason, I was able to make it to runner up on this one one time.
