Yes, the roughly equivalent Cerveny horn has a bore of .835. But the valves actually have a bore closer to .815. This was true on the 601/701 tubas they made in the past. Such a valve section might work on a St. Pete, though I'm hardly the person to ask about that. Maybe Matt Walters will chime in.
