Around 1999 the Dennis Wick 2L was improved by adding some more mass in a special way to the outside and the throat was very slightly increased. The new 2L sounds somewhat darker with more projection and range of dynamics.
1. Was the Wick 3L also changed then or later?
2. Did the company also change the small shank counterpart of the 2 and maybe the 3, or leave them the same?
3.By the way, does the 3sl project better than the old 3? Do the low notes speak enough for soloists playing primarily in the mid and upper range? Thanks. Bill.
