Most Elgar orchestral pieces have very involving tuba parts. Interestingly the most frequently played, Enigma Variations, has the least to do compared to the Symphonies, the various overtures, tone poems, marches, and oratorios. The concertos for cello and violin are nothing to write home about by the way, and their parts are even marked ad libitum. Otherwise - Elgar? Go for it.
