I have a 3/4 alex CC I purchased 20+ years ago. It is always for sale (HAH!) but no sane human would pay the price! Everyone who has played it loves the sound. It has standard intonation issues, but nothing you cannot adjust for.
It is a wonderful quintet horn, and while I own an F tuba, this 3/4 alex is really great for almost anything you would do on an F.
Keep looking for one, they are worth it if you find one.
