I agree, I bought a MW2155 a couple of years ago and have not played one I like as much as I like mine since. My 2155 took a lot of getting used to. The intonation isn't too good and the valves have lots of problems. The sound I get on the horn is very much worth the trouble, though. I have come accustomed to the alternate fingerings (C in the staff HAS to be played in 5th postition (2nd and 3rd valve) in order for it to be in tune.) However, 2nd partial C is perfectly in tune. It was a pain learning the horn, but well worth it in the long run.

So not to ramble anymore, my advice to you is if you plan on purchasing a MW, be sure you play the one you are looking to buy. I strongly suggest you spend a long time with the horn. If you are at a conference, try it several times and don't go easy on the horn with the tuner. You HAVE to be very precise when choosing one. Anyway, good luck.
