John Williams came to Marine Barracks last year to rehearse & record with the President's Own, along with attending the Evening Parade that Friday night.
Several of us got to watch them play under Mr. Williams that afternoon, and they sounded good -- good enough that they might as well have been doing a CD right there.
Somebody asked one of the band members when they started working on the music, and he said, "Oh, when did we get it... just last week, actually."
Yup. Simply put, this level of ensemble is GOOD.
