I am in communication with her now. We are replacing our last Miraphone sousaphones this year, namely 2 more. I am hoping to use this last opportunity to get myself a Conn 20k. Just got to make sure it will match the Yamahas and fit in the same flight case.
Replacing relatively new instruments, especially expensive ones, is not something which passes a budget request. We will probably have the Yamaha Sousaphones for many years to come. The Miraphones were probably 15 years old or more before they got replaced.
