I used to own one of these, top action, a little older. It was a low-pitch horn and I had to have the main tuning slide trimmed quite a bit (between 1 and 2", symmetrically on each side of the "U" [of course]).
You'd have to ask one of the repair guys for an opinion on the horn . . . .
