The Pride of Arizona (AT) The University of Arizona. Most likely the most intense, high energy college marching band. Known as the "first alternative music marching band." Intense drill, intense music, and an incredible director, Jay C. Rees. We performed at the southwest region "Bands of America" competition as the exhibition performance. The president of BOA was so impressed, it earned us a trip in the next couple of years to Indianapolis to be one of the exhibition performances at BOA Nationals.
With Mike Stoops as the new football coach.....things will be turning around with the team real soon. Im on the tuba line and also in the pep band. Im also a music ed. major in the tuba studio under the direction of Kelly Thomas. Its an awesome music program. You should really check it out, especially if you love marching. email me if you want more info. One more thing, if you go to USC and march in their band.....you will play the same 2 songs over, and over, and over, and over again.
