I don't know the power output of the amp, but it sounds as though this is a decent deal even if it is a practice amp. And a practice amp would meet my needs for a long time.
And I also don't know how old the bass is, but the seller bought it at least ten years ago and paid more for it then. And it was not new at that time, so being as old as the 70's is a good possibility. All he has said is that it is U.S.-made, and to my inexpert eyes it looked to be in good condition.
