Sousaphone wrap question resolved

Thanks for the replies to my asking about that sousaphone wrap which puzzled me.

There is a mentioning of the possibility, that Conn at one time made a sousaphone wrapped like a King. That was my exact doubt and the reason why I asked.

On background of the postings I asked the seller and he responded kindly (but has not changed his auction presentation) that the body actually was made by King with the serial number of 2060133, which should take its making some 70 years back.

He sent me a photo of the bell engraving, which is different from that of my Conn sousas from 1927/28. He had not been able to make a good photo of the King engraving/stamp on the body
