I was in the band last year, along with another fine player (he actually got to the semi's for the New York gig. For the audition process, it's pretty much showing how big your ego is, play things that are very showy and impressive. Try and play a lot of rep in the little amount of time, which means taking bits and pieces of works, maybe about 4 or 5. And definetly make sure your sight readingis very up to par, because this is what the most important part of the audition is. If you need any more info, just drop me an e-mail. Hope it helped
