I played one of the old MW2141's for over a year, and, after finding the right mouthpiece (a Dillon PS3) and learning my way around the horn, I liked it VERY MUCH. I used it in quintet and brass band situations. I would still have it today if I hadn't come across a deal on a Willson Eb that I just could not pass up.
In my opinion, the MW was a darker, larger, and more responsive tuba than the Besson. A lot of your choice would depend upon what you will use it for. Hope this helps.
