I second the suggestion of playing several horns before deciding. I too, play a Miraphone 186 BBb with which I am extremely happy and could easily recommend it; but you MUST find the right horn for YOU. This is a MAJOR investment. I don't know where you live, but there are several high-quality stores at which you could play to your heart's desire, as I am sure you know.
