Way back in my dark DCI days, we had a section "thing" that was passed down over the years. It was called the Contra Fart. I have never seen anyone else able (or willing) to duplicate this unusual burst of pedal GG. We would aim our K-90's at the Sports Arena (500 yards from our rehearsal fields) and see who could echo this "sound" back the loudest.
Ahhh . . . the ways we amuse ourselves during water breaks.
Can't get any other tubas (or contrabass bugles or sousaphones) to produce the famed Contra Fart. It must have had something to do with those instruments.
What a sound, that lovely Contra Fart!
