In your most recent recital, when deciding on lyrical selections to include, which pieces did you select, and what specific musical, intellectual, and compositional considerations attracted you to those particular pieces; and, when you were considering selections to include, what are some of the specific compositional fallacies that convinced you to discount the second movement of John Williams composition as one of your repertoire choices? In multi-movement works that you performed, what were some of the compositional techniques utilized by their composers to add continuity and pertinence in order to tie together the individual movements of those works?
